It would take two seconds to realize "continuing" in the given (or any) context meant shows that were airing last season. One does not tend to include continuing works because that's not reflective of the season.
What's reflective of summer is that it's mostly sequels.

it's the same 3-4 episode per volume story arcs that light novel adaptations always have, though better than the first season since there's a main antagonist now
still those movies kind of spoiled me and now I feel like ~90 minute made-for-TV-quality movies for each volume arc are the optimal way to adapt a light novel series and everything else is going to suck by comparison
