I thought it was good but nowhere near amazing like everyone else seems to think. I haven't seen it since I was a teenager though, and I've been tempted to give it a rewatch to see if my opinions change since I didn't watch the movie until 2020 and I enjoyed it more than I remember liking the show

Why's it for non-anime fans? Just wondering the appeal. I didn't really care for the characters and especially not the gay/trans stuff they threw in left and right. Idk why a normie would particularly like this. I could at least see the appeal of naruto or death note etc
Good, but Ed and Ein are annoying characters. My dad loved western movies, but I never could show him Bebop because of the annoying anime tard characters.
The last 2 episodes are pure spaghetti western, though.

Normalfaggots are unable to appreciate genres like SoL, CGDCT, iyashi-kei, etc. Cowboy Bebop has enough action to keep their attention and its aesthetic isn't "too anime". It's a great show, but somehow still overrated, and makes a poor litmus test for taste.

I think it just might be the most overrated anime of all time. The dub also changes the tone of the show a lot. Yeah it's better than 99% of dubs that existed back then, but I preferred the sub when I rewatched the show, and I grew up with the dub.
Also I think trigun has similar vibes and is much better.
