itt anime series only you remember

going based on the least popular full series I've watched on anilist, it's hand maid may, but that's still remembered by some on 4channel
I was going to go with somebody's dreamers 2, but looking at the archive, it's actually gotten a few posts in the last couple years surprisingly. even more surprising is the fact that I watched the second season without watching the first
so I'll go with kamisama kazoku. a very early subbed anime watch for me, from back when crunchyroll was a pirate site where people uploaded fansubs. a friend from school recommended it to me. I remember enjoying it, and I've been tempted to give it a rewatch

I read it a decade ago but I don't really remember anything about it, which tells me it wasn't worth remembering.

I remember this shit for the simple fact that it enraged me at the concept of that blonde being a "wet nurse" and at no point did she fulfill her god damn role.

No, sadly. Although, the very end of the manga was rushed and unsatisfying, so...maybe for the best. Aoi also is treated much better in the anime and ends up becoming a sad pathetic loser who can't get over her crush on Oga, even after the author invents a whole new Oga-esque dude specifically to be interested in her as a consolation prize.
One of the biggest losses is missing the arc where they discover that kissing cuases Hilda to revert to a personality that isn't hardened by discipline and she turns into a nice maiden who likes Oga more openly. That was fun. Oh, and Oga and Furuichi going to America, hitchhiking in the dessert and getting picked up by a truck driver and Oga calling himself(?) "Fuck."

Style over substance the anime

I remember this being one of the first series I've ever seen when I first got into anime and somehow I got the impression it was super popular because I saw the gif of the boob reload in a bunch of places. But I remember making references to it and trying to talk about it to other anime watchers and not a single one of them I recall knew about it.

I know quite a few other people actually remember it. Generally fondly too. But I never pass up an excuse to mention it because it deserved to be more popular and epic war fantasy is, and I saw this often, a tragically under explored genre.

I think about this show quite a bit, it feels like a show I'd like because the character designs and premise sound great. But I can never get past the 2nd episode without getting bored.

In the later parts it shined with the everyday interactions, the characters had become very... amusing and comfy so yeah it was a mistake to take itself more serious towards the end, I wanted to see more of the characters in silly situations instead it rushed towards a somehow cliche battle shonen final battle

I thought it was pretty charming and funny and Himuro was super cute. But it gets no discussion or art anymore.
