She was supposed to join the team and develop her stand powers. Probably something support or swarm based considering female character didn’t had out right fighting based stands in part 3.
But editors cucked him since it was still the 90s and female characters fighting (and getting beat onscreen in Ryona ways) was considered too gay for shonen jump.
So he cut her out from the story completely. Not the first change of his plans, considering Hol Horse was planned to join the crusaders too
