I'm invested in being right about my analysis, not that I care about Anna winning. What is my analysis based on? Several elements of genre law related to harem romcoms:
1. In any JP romance, the first girl introduced is ALMOST ALWAYS the winner (the main girl).
2. All JP romances have a main couple which is destined to be together from the very start and this is never hidden for other reasons I won't go into but which means the main girl will always take up the majority of the narrative space.
3. In a harem setup, unlike in other forms of JP romance, the main girl is ALMOST ALWAYS the 2nd most attractive girl because the 1st most attractive (Karen in this case) has to assume the role of dramatic final boss for the final arc. When I first watched the anime I was suprised that this rule was subverted with Anna being the most attractive -- until I realized in later episodes that the winners were also a part of the harem, then it fell back into place. The winners' role in the harem is to be the foils of the losers, which is why Karen has to be the last boss, being the foil of the main girl.
