The UBW movie is a beautiful clusterfuck. When it was the only adaptation we had, it made me mad, but I love it for how fucking weird it is now.

Visually? Arguably? Narratively? Hell fucking no, lmao. It doesn't get anything across. Movie Shirou proves he can be a hero, because he just beats the shit out of people. He's honestly kind of a little bit of a chad. Real might makes right character.

The one good thing about the UBW movie is how it adapts Gilgamesh faithfully. The Ufotable adaptation ran heavy damage control for him because of how pathetic he is in the original VN compared to Zero, which gave him an army of fangirls.
