Yea and then every action sequence would be a long drawn out frame of them screaming before swinging the sword once or twice, with little to no choreography. I'm in my 30s retard. I lived through this era of animation and surprise, it's 90% garbage just like today. Very rarely did we have good action sequences which is all that Demon Slayer has going for it. Only tourist and newfags get nostalgic for this style.

I'm not against Ai, but the way it was introduced in modern times and the way it's being forced into everything(my social media, even my fucking phone force updated and enabled 2 different Ai without my permission) is causing the pushback. In house Ai is fine. The Finals used voice actors to record lines and turned it into an Ai for their game. Iirc one of the artists for SMT is hand feeding an Ai for a project where it creates unique monsters for you based on his style. Things like this are fine and no one would care, but force feeding Ai thousands of datasets without permission is pretty retarded and ends up being entirely soulless.

You mean the anime industry or the AI? Because in the recent years AI has showed a remarkable progress like in writing the code and recognising whatever information you give it. On the other hand Anime has never been more popular and the industry is on par with Hollywood yet the actual artstyle and special effects haven't seen any improvement, many even argue it's stagnating with incorrect use of cheap CG.

Lately, I've been wondering if 3D printing could somehow be combined with AI tools to make the creation of tens of thousands of traditional cels easier? That way, you could have human hands step in to inject their own work, as-needed, and and fully manage the animation process. Basically, "power" the creation of new anime with A.I., as opposed to wholly using it to ""create anime.""

I hate CGI and A.I.-generated movement so fucking much... and, I think most people do. But on the other hand, modern anime ""artwork"" is so shitty compared to the high detail style of older shows, because it has become infinitely commercialized. It is totally devoid of soul. We need to reach a solution, or else I think people might stop paying for anime altogether.
