Bullshit meme. The entire manga is about a guy whose life consists of defying fate and not falling to the rhetoric that certain actions are necessary to achieve a certain goal. Not only did Griffith not need to betray his "family" to reach his dream, the way he acts as a savior following the betrayal is either full on evil or the epitome of self conceitedness. First, no good king sells out his entire people for power. It's one thing to make a path out of the misery of others, it's another to do so unnecessarily and out of those who form what the path leads to. The Hawk's were the true people of his kingdom and Wyndham was to be his city, if not for him getting pissy over something irrelevant to his dream. Was Guts being with him necessary? No. Did Guts betray him or leave him unfairly? No. Did he act out in a way that was hypocritical of his then current ideals? Yes. Then he doubled down and went by his retarded actions and, following his rebirth, acted like a savior for solving problems that he created. His whole ideology is a big gay fallacy. What stops him from betraying and murdering all his current subjects is the fact that they are his current kingdom, yet as soon as shit goes south, he could sacrifice it for another one, which makes having a kingdom redundant.

Everything that he magically solved could have been done, by him, without the egg. As well, the misery he caused was excessive to achieve what he did, especially when considering what he could have done as a human. He is absolutely evil for this and is either self aware of it or is conceited enough to believe his actions are good. Nigga literally spoke with the embodiment of evil who told him that he would fulfill the same role that he, evil itself, does.
