Yeah, to be honest I just rewatched the conversation and all made sense now to me even though I watched it before and remember it.
To be honest, this is kind of the issue I feel of watching fiction in a second language you're not fluent in. I feel the issue is that your brain is expending all power it has to untangle the grammar so you βunderstand what they're sayingβ but your brain isn't automatically wondering about the implications of anything because understanding it isn't an automatic process. I read a post about that a few weeks back of someone complaining about βI understand what they say, just not what they mean.β
I think I'm just going to watch the entire episode again when the Japanese subtitles are out to be honest. Maybe the knapsack film too. I feel I missed too much of the significance of the lines. This title relies too much on actually thinking about what the lines mean to take it so lightly I feel.
