how many anime episodes can you watch in a day before getting bored/tired? I've been watching at least 12 anime eps everyday for 3 weeks. Sometimes 15-20+. I want to see how much I can keep going.

It truly depends on the series.
If it's a good one, for real, I could go all day.
But some series may have characters that are annoying or have too much tension an drama so at most I could possibly watch 4-5 episodes before deciding to continue other day

When I'm watching already completed stuff I tend to watch very slowly until some point in the middle that hooks me and then I binge the rest in an afternoon

depends if it's subbed or dubbed. If it's dubbed I can clear a season sitting down easy. if it'd subbed it's slower because I actually have to pay attention and read.

I typically watch upwards of 6 a day, I don't like watching more than that. It helps my memory with retaining what happened in the episodes and allows me to think about the episodes more. I'm very particular about developing an attachment to every show I watch, binging through seems wrong to me unless I've already watched it.

Depends on the series and how engaging the plot is. I usually try and limit myself to no more than 6, if I’m really invested, because I know I’ll enjoy it more if it has time to sink in. If it’s like the beginning of a season though Ill watch all the newly aired stuff in a day a week after the first eps air just to see.

Eminence in Shadow is dry satire. I think elements like the gratuitous English and German, flashing red eyes, and the absurd crowbar monologue should indicate it's not actually trying to be as serious as much as put on adolescent airs of seriousness. Familiarity with chuuni and specific influences like Boogiepop, Haruhi, Raildex, Mushoku Tensei, etc. should help it make sense since it's basically nonstop citationless pastiche.

I also remembered I'm obligated to mention Dunbine, Yohko Leda, Maze, and Escaflowne.

It's basically evoking a certain pattern in chuuni in which an esoteric or improvised weapon is chosen for the unexpressed purpose of being unique, as if the user sees some hidden potential in it while in actuality it's just an imaginative theory or common knowledge. Scythes and katana are probably the most well-known examples, but you've probably seen all sorts of alternatives in battle shounen like revolvers, whips, chakrams, scissors, etc. Knives are also a big one in which case it's probably going to be a butterfly knife or karambit. 3-4 daily depending on cliffhangers, but when shit gets really good I've been up to 5-6. As an adult of course, as a kid I could watch entire short seasons in a couple of hours or just watch One piece / Naruto / Bleach all day long.


However my peak was 31 episodes of Hunter x Hunter in a sitting when I was 20 yo. I was "working" on a college project (paint a color wheel with tons of combinations) which I found extremely tedious and boring.
So that day I started HXH since morning to midnight, watching it alongside the homework (which I didn't progress for shit, at midnight my parents saw I was still far off and tried to help me, went to college the next day without sleeping and with the shittiest color wheel in the entire university because I barely understood the assignment and none of us had the skills but at least it was finished)

When i started watching one piece i got so hooked i was watching it as much as I could, taking advantage of it being summer vacantion. I had a few days when i watched 45 episodes. I was watching OP on the phone while eating, on the PC and then back on the phone in bed.

depends on the anime. if its brainless trash like that time I attended a million meetings, I can easily watch 25+ episodes a day. but if its something that actually makes me wanna pay attention is probably more like 12 max. and yes, I'm a neet of course.

When people are new to anime, they usually consume as much as they can in the beginning. That lasts for around two years. Then they burnout and either drop anime completely or rarely watch it. The phase they watched it stays printed in their head as their golden age of anime.

I really like this one. I've seen it three times.

When I was in high school and started watching anime I remember timing that it took about 9 hours to watch 26 episodes, counting snack breaks/watching the OPs if I ever want. So back then I'd spend 9 hours on the weekends or whenever I was home from school. This was like 18-20 years ago now.

For the past 5-6 years I usually can't go longer than 2 hours without getting bored or wanting to do something else. If I really get into a show I can still watch it all day, though, but on the average week I just spend a few hours on the weekends catching up on seasonals.

I can watch maybe 2 episodes in a day unless I'm watching with someone else. When I showed my mom Suisei no Gargantia, we watched episodes 7-13 in one go.
Manga however, I could read dozens of chapters in one go if I get invested enough or if I'm re-reading a series I really liked. On a particularly slow day at my security job, I basically read the entire second half of Negima, only stopping to do site patrols or heat up my dinner.

I aim to watch 100 episodes a month.
Usually 2 episodes before work and 1 episode after work while eating. On my days off I try to watch 5-6 episodes.
I don't watch a lot of ongoing stuff, usually only 2-4 each season so most of it is backlog stuff.

In my teens and early 20s I could easily watch a whole cour in a day but I'm 30 now and have too much going on. I always watch my daily seasonals no matter how many there are but I don't always get to backlog series every day, I rarely watch more than 4 episodes per day now. I wish I could watch anime all day but there are just too many things to do. You'll get to that point in life eventually.
