Literally Konoha didn't benefit from anything he ever did and in turn created its worst enemies, he was used as a scapegoat by Kishimoto because "no one can be evil" killed him and forgot about him
Everything past pain's arc was complete fucking shit

Was actually hinted at by Sasuke with the "that night ...crying" but viz translation messed it up so English speakers couldn't catch on.
First and second wars weren't Danzo's fault at all.
Actually one war was started by Sasori kidnapping the third Kazekage.
Orochimaru's experiments were still on him and he was forgiven rather than redeemed.
Madara still caused most of the shit in the past. Just because the 1st Hokage forgave him doesn't mean the rest of the world has to.
But the world moves on and even if you can't forgive someone you should not be held back by the past. You are fucking dumb anon.

Kishi shat the bed in more ways than one with shippuden. Danzo is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to dogshit writing choices. Naruto coming back after timeskip still dumb and useless, Sasuke's whole arc was shit. By the end it was literally just overpowered bullshit. Add the shitty last chapter to set up for boruto and even the most evil cunts like orochimaru being forgiven and it really goes to show how kishi fumbled it. The first part was truly amazing, it really sucks shippuden had to be so shit.

I like to believe Danzo is an allegory for Richard Nixon.

I would have happily served under Danzo, they were doing work that literally had to be done and no one else wanted to do. And the rest o the village leadership KNEW it which is why they all let Danzo do his thing. Sasuke is right to want to revenge, but that doesn’t change the fact that Danzo and Itachi were right to save the village from a Uchiha rebellion. This is not an even slightly edgy take, it’s just the truth.

Eradicate them all because MAYBE there would be a rebellion?
