If I didn't read the plot synopsis I would easily believe it was about the King pulling a fast one on all the protagonist's hoes as he cunningly reels him in. You know, there's one thing I really liked about the webtoon and that was Frey immediately realizing who gave him his second penalty on waking up, because there's literally only one realistic option.

They're basically going to have rewrite the entire relevant arc to accommodate for that, but that's for the best since that was one of the weakest arcs in the novel. One of the few parts I thought had much better writing compared to the novel.

Also I'm really disappointed they never made some changes, like changing "The First Ordeal" to being Frey's father being rendered comatose until "the end of the game".
