I got a motorcycle after reading GTO and it was great. I had to sell it after life changes in my mid 20s when I no longer had disposable income and couldn't afford to keep a motorbike and a car, which I needed, modest though they were.

I got a trumpet because of Sora no Woto and a bike because of Shuumatsu Touring.

Beserk inspired me to pick up rape.

Japs have cracked the code. They can make works with cute girls going fishing, camping, riding bikes, hiking, taking pictures etc.. and suddenly I am driving my Honda to the local lake to fish, camp and take pictures.
They can make a show about cute girls literally collecting fucking rocks and suddenly it starts to genuinely look interesting.

I picked up FGO for regular practice a few months after I started learning. (Someone said this exact summer PV shot probably got a bunch of people into the game a decade ago, and I resemble that remark.) This turned out to be a double-edged sword because keeping up with the game ate into basics-study time, and I still haven't gone back to finish the special/advanced sections of Tae Kim. (Also, it's too bad most of FGO is unvoiced, since that would've sped up kanji learning a lot.)

Not directly related to the content of any specific anime, but I got into cosplay as a teen, taught myself how to sew, and now I make costumes professionally for a popular theme park. It's really fun and I can go in the park for free whenever I want.
And no, I haven't watched Dress up Darling yet, but I probably should.

Learning songs seems to work well, since they're easier to remember and repeat. I did it once and it worked great, but never got around to expanding further.

Pretty steady, we have seasonal events and shows every year that have new casts that need costumes, and the year-round characters get their costumes refreshed regularly. Stuff gets wrecked really quickly in a theme park environment and sun damage is no joke.
