That is true, however, so far in the manga the characters haven't really been put in a situation where Rudo's power felt like what was conveniently needed for the plot to move forward (or even for the characters to simply survive through the situations they find themselves in). Obviously it's a busted power, and Rudo's the MC so he carries the load whenever some shit actually goes down, but it's not a magic genie lamp.

I don't really consider Trash Beast fights to be real fights. They don't like, have clear names or anything. That part is mostly just them at work and clearing out mindless beasts through showcasing their instruments.
Only Trash Beast you can kinda consider a real fight is the one in the jungle but that was part of a whole other clusterfuck situation too.

A fight needs to have some give and take to really count. It's why I also didn't count the early stuff between Dear and Bro vs Bundus. They literally just have a cute chat, showcase their powers a bit in ways that don't really involve attacking each other, then move on to the big finale clusterfuck where things actually finally happen.

Because whenever the west does a black character or gay/lesbian it's either because the staff was forced to or to push some kind of agenda
Whenever Japan does either of those things it's either purely out of fun or because the author just wants a character that looks different, so it feels more sincere than whenever the west does it

Well the core theme of the series is about respecting and valuing everything, so the MC having a power that shows their value is only natural. Rudo spends a lot of time sidelined and still gets upstaged a lot, so it's no big deal.

A good guy being in an overwhelming disadvantage, going through a whole backstory flashback as if about to pull out the win through determination, only for it to come back from said flashback and show he is already bodied.
Only other time something came close to that I think is like Rock Lee vs Gaara, though this version doesn't even get the cool comeback before eating shit.
