It would not be so extremely divergent, since all the other players are based on other earth entertainment media, which all share a common mindset about what fiction should tell.
That's why you get a fantasy version of civilization, a typical light novel isekai yuusha in fantasy world, a fantasy world jrpg, a tabletop game based on a fantasy setting, fantasy succubi shenanigans and so on, and not something completely out of order like scifi space ships or more extreme niche like biopunk.

When game systems intersect one take priority over the other. Sometimes "common sense" itself wins and the game system doesn't even apply to the rest of the world like the RPG enemies who can only fight in groups of three but nobody else has this problem. The 4X genre of our protagonist is actually the least intrusive of them. It should be remembered that the game systems are isekai'd into the world, so they'll find out it either doesn't happen as they expect, or it coincidentally does both, whatever the author decides. Really something that's missing is having Takuto do something and finding out it doesn't work, or at least thinking through the implications when it does work. Like the magic research, he just assumes that the magic system is the same as the game and can freely research the exact same things as in his game, wtf? I guess that's too much to expect from the isekai "genre" though.

I've only read the manga up to current translation, so I'm sure I'm missing a ton of stuff, but coming from that part -
The current big bad is running on tabletop RPG rules, and has the ability to manipulate the dice so she always rolls a critical success/opponent always rolls a critical failure. So she marches right into Takuto's throne room, does some mind control spell on Atou, and forces her to attack and kill Takuto (he's not really dead though). They then flee with Atou in tow. Big bad figures easy game, Atou is now hers and Mynoghra is finished. Hence the 'NTR'.
Turns out though that Atou's love and trust for Takuto is so high it gives her a massive saving throw bonus; first chance she gets she passes the super-high DC to shrug off the mind control, even with a critical failure dice roll. So the situation doesn't last long.

You can make completely custom factions.
The DLC adds some premade factions, but also makes all their things available to use in custom factions.
This includes not just their looks, but also all the traits cultures and stuff.
Here's some images, all the things with those extra two letters ("PF", "EA" are added by DLC).

And most importantly, it also adds those tomes of magic, which are basically your tech tree and give you spells to cast, units to build etc.

So the DLCs give you more variety, but all actual features that came with the updates have been added to the base game, so until you run out of things you want to do, the base game is perfectly fine.
