This anime is so comfy, what is about female mangaka in their 40s that makes them so good? I realized that some of my favorite manga like Dorohedoro, Land of the Lustrous, Dungeon Meshi and G. Gray-man are made by female authors from the same generation as Dekin Mogura's

PH is my favorite manga. I think it's great all the way through, with an amazing final arc and a great ending, even if a bit rushed if you ask me, but still great. I also have a soft spot for the anime due to its dim/shadowy atmosphere and its superb soundtrack (one my favorites of all time).
Vanitas is good, but not as good as Pandora in my opinion.

It's got a bit of a weird vibe. Like, the humor is right up my alley, but I'm also into weird combinations of frenetic comedy and subtle playing with society's norms. Mogura himself comes off sometimes like some emo kid but when you realize he's been alive long enough to have seen plenty of shit you realize he's not emo he's just been there and is cynical. Then he spazzes out about some modern tech and you realize he's just supposed to be the ultimate boomer.
