Sometimes I just really dislike Japan. It feels like they have some law that prohibits the existence of interesting protagonists.

Apocrypha must be the biggest waste of potential from Nasu, if he even had a hand in it. It just drops every seemingly interesting to focus on Sieg, who's unrelatable and doesn't even work as a self-insert.
