It’s painfully obvious shonen jump doesn’t give a crap about bleach and it’s just milking its fan base’s nostalgia for a quick buck and Kubo is going along with it because it’s easy money for him. That’s why the schedule is so chaotic, the Director isn’t even involved half the time and they can’t seem to secure any half decent action animators. Hell, the only reason they’re going with a seasonal format is to drag that nostalgia train as much as possible before people realize they’re being played.
The story was clearly suppose to end after Aizen as everything after damages the story and characters. All of which feels like a shitty filler.
After this debacle, I have a little to no respect for Kubo and even less respect for the fans that still defend him and attack anyone who even lightly criticizes their Lord and savior like a bunch of insane cult members.
PS- More Burn the witch and that hell arc aren’t happening. It’s painfully obvious neither one of them did all that well and with the new adaption severely under performing, there’s no reason for Shueisha to move forward with either.
