If that were true, I wouldn't like them, but it's also a claim you based on absolutely nothing. As depicted, I often find them very charming and alluring. There are no real-life examples to cite, of course, but an immortal would have to be continually rejuvenated, and there's no reason this rejuvenation would not restore the plasticity of the brain. People tend to get more boring as they age because they lose their mental flexibility and become stuck in a rut of patterned behavior. An immortal would have no reason to become like that.
