weekly shonen jump needs a series like the marshall king but actually good, with all due respect to Boichi, there are a lot of really good ideas in his manga but the execution of them would have gotten that manga axed already, it feels so rushed, like he wanted to publish it as fast as possible without even planning the first arc of the story

now a well thought cowboy manga would do great, rangers or outlaws, it does not matter but it needs to be centered around one of those two ideas since that's the true core of a cowboy world, outlaws, guns, and large masses of virgin land

I'm not saying every single character needs to be relevant every single chapter, but it sucks when you like a character just for them to completely vanish from the story for a long arc. With characters like Char and Hinao it does suck but it's understandable. However with characters like Hiyuki and Tafuku it's more frustrating because they don't have those limitations that Char and Hinao have. The reason given for Hiyuki, Tafuku, and Shiba being either completely or mostly absent from this arc makes sense, but it's still a shame and I hope going forward it's something Takeru is able to avoid doing in future arcs. At least the long ones.
