Yes and no. The first major saga, while generic, was quite enjoyable. Nothing incredible, but well done in every aspect, especially for a battle shonen. After that, in the middle of the second saga things went to south and never recovered, the author's health was a factor, but the terrible writing can't be accounted to only that
