The interview also implies MC will always be in the wrong in case he ends confronting the insecurities. Reiji is very fondly of his detours, devistions and coincidences. Maybe Chizuru won't directly know about Kazuya's insecurities from his mouth, but probably because he'll go unga bunga against Umi and she'll see his true self.

Chizuru would have never known Kazuya was still seething over Mami or his informed double edge qualities if he didn't violent and impulsively lashed back at Kibe. Kazuya would've never seen Chizuru's vulnerable self if not for having to take advantage of her professionalism.

So him lashing at Umi out of jealousy or having another fight with Kibe would make Chizuru know about Kazuya's insecurities.
