>Imagine you are the most superpowerful good looking cool guy ever
>Imagine every threat is easily overpowered by your inherent genius and muscles and every dirty normie villager can only gawk at how godly you are compared to them
>Imagine every bodacious fantasy babe thinks you're the coolest guy ever and wants to bone you
>Imagine you don't have to put any work into making these relationships last because your harem of babes is happy just basking in your awesomeness and will never challenge you in any way
>Imagine you work your way up to a position of power and can make drastic lasting changes to the kingdom's political structure
>Imagine these ideas all being genius and you create the perfect society way better than any irl politician ever could because you played sims city
>Imagine just being perfect in every way without even having to try
>Also imagine that every bully or person you don't like has been reduced to a blubbering humiliated pissbaby that gets raped to death
I was out with some friends recently, and we all came to the same consensus that if any of us seriously tried to get into anime like this, it would make us all feel...well, sorry, there's no better way to say it, like losers. There's just something so deeply pathetic about it. How does anyone engage with this type of storytelling and feel good about themselves when they look in the mirror? How do you think that there's a good admirable person looking back at you? I can't wrap my head around it.
