Haru is genuinely, honestly quite possibly the weakest fighter in the whole Anihhilation Tournament.
Contenders who had weak showing in their first round.
Robinson: Despite getting wrecked by Raian, was actually one of the favourites to win and by fight history was one of the top fighters alongide the likes of Wakatsuki and Agito. During his fight with Raian even Erioh genuinely thought it was over, but mostly because he didn't want Raian to break out Removal infront of the crowd.
Nezu: As we've seen Purgatory is a big enough deal, the Champ of Bishamon is likely a lot stronger than given credit for. His build is similar to Agito with incredible reach and don't overlook that his kicks were faster than even experienced fighters could follow, a feat really only matched by Rei and Gaolang's lightning jabs. I feel he is a lot stronger than his loss suggests and he just fucked up by taking a low guard and not expecting an blitz-uppercut.
Nikaido: His wombo-combo looks like it sucked, but Setsuna needs to be on deaths door to activate his limit-break move, so he did genuinely one-shot Setsuna but he had some Focus-Sash-Endeavour-Quick-Attack combo himself.
Rihito: Managed to get at least one solid blow against Gensai and honestly his biggest feat at that point, his bathroom brawl, Raian had to use Removal to beat him down.

Meanwhile Harou went against Akoya and spent the first half of the fight getting absolutely clowned on until he took that first big knock down and hit his "Avatar mode", which his only hits were entirely due Hiyama Shunka's flawed timing, followed by him holding back while she tried to figure it out. The second he said "Times up, I'll just kill him." he proceeded to put him down with absolute lack of effort and avoided having to murder him by the guy crumbling under his own weight.
Harou is weak. The only fighters that might be weaker would be Chiba or Sawada, who are both seemingly pretty pathetic.
