The manga seems to rather depict the story chronologically, instead of interchangin between the past and the future like the anime did or the light novel apparently does.

I really enjoyed this show. It's very flawed and probably salvageable but the VA performance by Aoi Yuki is just so fantastic I don't even care.

I remember reading the manga but I kinda stop understanding what the fuck was happening once the spooder left the cave.
She was traveling for some reason with a vampire loli, a vampirer butler, and some female with a shitty design that was supposed to be evil or something. then there were aliens or some kind of sci fi things and dunno what else because the manga wasn't getting more translations.

It's really interesting how the author managed to keep the worldbuilding from the start to the finish.

I should say the ending sucked, still.
Anyone who wanted to read the WN or LN should stop after the Elf Extermination.
If you want some chuckle, you can read Kumoko trying to explain stuff to the reincarnators.
On my re-read after the LN finished, I think the best thing was to think that the ending was when Kumoko stood her ground against Gyurie and the reincarnators.
Past that everything just become disappointing.

The author unloaded the contempt of a thousand PMSing women into the ending.
Kumo loses in every version because Shun (the parody hero character) unironically embodies the tropes he was parodying up until that point and just wins due to plot contrivance.
In the WN, she ends up as D's pet spider.
In the LN she's kept as a maid.

The manga has been all Kumo-chan's perspective even when she started running into characters that had focus in those time forward bits. I don't think it's ever going to go over to them except maybe in the final arc where it's basically necessary.

It was nice as webnovel because it was short to read so it wasnt in the way and any mention to Kumoko and her antics and consequences was fun and added to the mysteries to solve, you had them to show another perspective but the anime and I guess LNs tried to make them their own thing which ended up just getting in the way as 2 anime mashed up together. I guess it ended up influence the actual writing and priorites of the author, how the hell you give such a random ending to our favorite spider and happy ending to the generic hero, Arifureta had it right making the hero suffer till the end and just sort him out in the after story

The system actually included a way for the human souls trapped in it to redeem themselves from their sins, but not one of them ever managed to do it.
Yet stupid fake hero boy sided with them and caused all the good characters and his classmates to be sacrificed to give the humans of that world more time to not redeem themselves.

They had 2 to 3 years prior to the show a Frist trailer.
The show was given out by trailer vote.
Basically the publisher and author announce the project, but have no studio for it yet.
The studios then make a trailer showing how they plan to adapt the story visually and so on.
Their trailer got choosen and they got the contract.
The trailer then got audio and was released as a preview to publicly announce the project.
Like 2 to 2.5 years after the trailer got publicly released the show started airing.
They completely changed the design and style that they got the contract for and despite the time they still produced the episodes on a weekly basis while it was airing.
Yet they also outsourced some of the work.
And when they fucked up the ending they claimed it was not their fault, the studio they outsourced to burned down.
Neither them or the other studio had any kind of backup of the work and apparently they to their claim have not even had the assets for the animation.
So either they make cheap excuses or they have basically no professionality at all.
No back ups and all assets lie with the studio they outsourced supposedly only a part of the work to.

She wanted to protect the students for Oka who saved her life back as a spider.
So their solution was to get rid of Potimas and sacrifice part of the humans completely to stabilize the planet and give Ariel a chance to talk to her foster mother the malfunctioning goddess.
Kumo/Shiro manipulated the system to protect students, but Shun abused this to spam skills that would normal deplete his soul and kill him, this made everything worse.
The malfunctioning goddess mad him the hero, not because he was a hero character, but because he is stupid and could be used by pope and would be included in the class protection.
His friend that God turned into a goblin would have actually be the most hero like character if he was not born a monster.
