I admit one reason I like this series is that it doesn't feel political, unlike series like say, Fullmetal Alchemist and One Piece. I'm not really a fan of anime that are political because I don't really care about politics in the slightest and I don't care to watch stuff relating to politics

like honestly, this series feels like one of the least political anime i've ever seen. Maybe that's why I like it so much

The series discuss polution and climate change. That's very political in the current landscape, at least in America because it's the only first world nation that deny climate change

It's not really political to me, because it doesn't really involve the war or the military or political discussions. Pollution and climate change isn't political

I wish there were more anime like Tokyo Mew Mew, Shimajiro, Precure, and Hamtaro that weren't political. I feel like there's too many political anime like Evangelion and such
