There was this manga I read called Zangyaku Sugiru Isekai demo Suzuki wa Kawaii. The premise was this boy had to use his cuteness to survive in a cruel world overrun by demons. One chapter, the author tried to put on an edge on the series with a baby eating demon, and that alone sank the manga hard.
