The funniest thing is learning that the culling game/Shibuya showdown arcs (the two worst in JJK) were based on Gege’s original concept for JJK with Megumi/Sukuna MC. Megumi and Sukuna were actually my favorite characters in JJK but shoehorning this in after Shibuya was so messy. He either ran out of ideas and returned to the one his original editor already told him was bad, or he did it out of spite.

No, Yuji's domain is the same as Shrine. It uses his soul targeting dismantles. We literally see that dismantle sure-hit land.
That pic is the same kind of near-death convo a bunch of characters had. Sukuna had it with Jogo and Kashimo, Nanami saw Haibara, Gojo went to the airport, that kind thing.
That is why Sukuna is in his Yujikuna body instead of his true form, like in reality.

Um achtually Yuji doesn't have an innate technique. He gained both Blood Manipulation and Shrine through outside means.

He was mistaken, because Kenjaku mated with the son of his twin's reincarnation.
This was obviously the more thematically consistent explanation, since the story started with the views on life of Yuji's grandpa, and ended with it being proven more valuable than Sukuna's. The twin born in modern times figured out the point of life, while the twin who cannibalized to survive in the Heian era failed to do so.
