It's kind of a shame that Kobayashi is having to juggle developing both the Roars and the Sun Cult in this battle, I would honestly prefer getting more development on the Saints side and their history of being the longest standing human faction

It was a good decision on Kobayashi's part to make Bagram a former member of the cult so it would feel more natural to develop both at once, but we totally could've had a few more chapters of what everyday life in Amen is like so the contrast with Aysel hits harder, instead of immediately getting into the war.

Since the Cult gathers people with strong magical powers, it seems that they would be great candidates for being powerful dragons.

High Dragons basically have no weaknesses. They can conquer sunlight and most forms of silver via sheer regeneration. Only Ragna who is an anti-magic freak can get over that, but he also deals with any magic using human easily right now.

Those are dragons centered around crowd combat, so they probably have the best chance since they can use minions as screens. Ragna's output is now down since he has to keep aiding others, so probably can't freeze an entire army again.

The only weakness of the high enough dragons is that they cannot use Aura based arts, but magic power can basically do anything aura can so really it would need to be someone like Rouxi who uses 3 auras or Ragna who is silver to actually get weaker from being a dragon
