Just rewatched Grimgar with my friends, 2 of us rewatched it back in the day. Final result was 7.3/10 Not as good as we remember it, dialog drags a bit and Haruhiro retreads a lot of ideas too much, coupled with the entire premise of the show up to that point being teamwork, the ending where Haru solos Death Spots was so thematically tone-deaf that we couldn't help but deduct points. Slower pacing and animation was a plus, CGI being (almost) completely absent was a plus as well.

I watched this and surprisingly I found it more like a mahou shoujo pretending to be a battle shonen. The male lead cooks and cleans around the house while the girls are in charge of the fights, there's also something cute about rewarding your malewife after fighting together and protecting everyone yes, it's raunchy but it's also pretty fun and yes I'm going to watch season 2.
