Tried reading some of the global novelpia stuff and it's truly a mix bag of awful. Some have translator notes in the chapters like "Have to translate everything to english terms" and then the next chapter is still using -unni -oppa etc.

Then there are some stories where the MC's name changes between being in Korean to being translated and then you have a character calling them by a title and some chapters have the title untranslated, the title translated one way, the title translated a different way.

That is largely because Pokemon is a game for kids, so difficulty is dialed down.

But it would be terrifying as fuck if "whited out" = death when you Isekai'd into that world. Now you are fully dependent on your mons for survival. Especially if fainting = death for pokemon like our world, making a real run of pokemon as Isekai like a Nuzlock run, which while doable, are MUCH harder to do and require real planning and strats, especially since luck can fuck you over.

The "training" part of Pokemon is just never explored. Even in the anime, it's pretty much always about calling out a move and the monster doing it. Dungeons are stupid simple and give dependable loot like a video game. It can be a good option with that start, as long as avoiding being targeted by dungeons and thieves is possible, as well as any dragons. Some of that can be done with the travel ability. With enough starting money and patience there's a lot of variety possible with the slave harem, and opportunities to earn money don't all have to come from dungeons or getting caught with mirror sales.

There are other series that aren't some sort of revenge or world ending threat setup, sometimes with better living standards through widely used magic or personal cheats. Some of those make earning money safe enough too, and sometimes include a MC acquiring slaves or make it easy to find people through those cheats.
