Only isekai worth investing time into is Re:zero because it's about Subaru overcoming personal flaws and weaknesses. Author perpetually nerfs MC so he doesn't become a boring busted superman.

The pure joy of Failure Frame is that the villains over-the-top and cartoonishly evil, and Touka not only destroys them, he tortures them. Failure Frame is catharsis, in that we actually get to see a hero act "evil" by killing the villains in the most brutal way possible. I still think back with joy on how Touka handled the Sword of Courage.

Gonna 2nd the anon saying failed frame is different. There is very little forgiveness in failed frame and the MC isn't cucked like naofumi. Touka actually fucks Seras. Also Touka's kindness only extends to his classmates that weren't pieces of shit. Even then he doesn't really give too much of a fuck abou them. Just about everyone else that gets in the way of revenge gets taken out and/or killed.
