i don't understand why people are so scared of source material. dub niggers are too fargone and then there are cry babies who apparently are old enough to pirate/straight up purchase VN's but can't teach themselves a language and or even use the novels as learning materials.
the learning japanese thread over on /jp/ is hilarious if you check it out. why is it even discouraging that you can't get a VN in english... i love being able to know japanese because even in earlier stages of not knowing much and still reading translated VN's, i knew exactly when the translation would contradict shit. which is even more encouraging to make you learn the language.
japanese takes a long time to learn but you only even need the basics to navigate games. some VN's are a lot harder to translate if you're still new but you just have to know your level and prioritize what you decide to read as something to study vs purely enjoy as a VN. VN's are an awesome way to teach yourself. you learn so much.
i'd like to be encouraging but chances are if you want to cry about language barriers and or you are a dub nigger you may as well stick to whatever is available to you on steam/JASTusa and all that crap anyways, you definitely have no business anywhere else if you can't be a normal adult and learn to be literate.
and then there's gen z. lol. specifically gen z dudes because gen z chicks are not only as highly fuckable as their boyfriends are cuckable but holy shit gen z chicks, just as unwilling to learn japanese but their taste is literally miles better than any fag that just at most likes fucking one piece/eva or azumanga/dokuro chan etc.
