Depends on the shot.
Some things have been toned down, but others have been cranked up.
They went really crazy with how unhinged Jabber looked during his fight, even moreso than the manga in some parts.
But then other parts with really weird perspective or sylization tend to get blended into a more reasonable thing to animate, unless they decide to go hard on the sketchy style stuff like Gris being stabbed and when Rudo first crossed the border.

They kinda overdid the Border bit honestly.
It was so scratchy and over the top that you couldn't really see the big thing Rudo was supposed to be getting a glimpse of.

At least we'll see it again at the end of the season, hopefully more clearly next time.

The Raiders' escape to safety is right next to them. They can quickly hop in as soon as the Cleaners move a muscle.
And even if they got lucky and were able to catch Jabber because they have to go in one at a time, that's still not a great situation.
The girl could bring in an unknown amount of enforcements to get him back before the Cleaners can leave the scene. And the Cleaners have wounded to worry about. Their top priority is getting the wounded out safely, not capturing Jabber.

Ive not read the manga but the trailers before it was released made it seem like it was going to be this super gory shonen with a great premise... holy fick has it been disappointing so far.
Only 2 actually good shows this season Takopi's Original Sin and Clevetass. Everything else has been a let down
