How do you feel about AI? I think the sekiro anime using it is going to either make or break the idea into the mainstream as many artists and animators in the Japanese industry have lifelong health problems that AI can help relieve, I’m willing to give the sekiro anime a chance, what do you think?

Now how much AI was used can be debated but i very much think they atleast used it to touch up on some of the fast paced action and combined with the messy artstyle that hides it very well.

AI is useful but as a lifelong anime fan myself i think it still has some kinks to work out, AI is inevitable and as someone who sees where the industry is headed i think these early stages are going to be rough hence why i pointed out that they are using a rough artstyle to purposely hide the use of AI.

I have my suspicions that Toei's recent revamp of One Piece's Fishman Island arc utilized AI to create the filter used to touch up many scenes in bulk, I dislike throwing stones in glass houses (obviously Toei has a certain mixed reputation as far as it having it's positive and negative elements as both a company and a employer), I wouldn't doubt that it's been used for D-tier productions meant to be cranked out quarterly like any number of irrelevant isekais to make backgrounds and such but I think the greatest crime this studio committed is that they are so sloppy it can't be denied. >>281720007

I think the biggest sin that's been committed is that, for better or for worse, there's a short list of vidya properties of high profile games that were generally well received, and it's clear that this will not be one of them despite it's potential. Normally, one of the benefits of working with an existing IP like this is that there's money to burn, so the adaptions at least generally look decent (hell, forget the gatchas, look at something like Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin), here it looks like every party involved is skimping out or simply does not give a shit about what's being advertised.
