I've watched a lot of anime now where characters talk about "killing intent" like it's a tangible phenomenon that has a life of its own. Almost spiritual in a way. Is it real? It feels more like a dramatic chuuni concept. It's only in Japanese stuff too, I don't think western media uses it. What does /a/ think about killing intent? Any cultural insights?

But predation does not necessarily escalate into killing intent at all.
It just means someone is marked as a mark.
