What was Heaven's Feels message? It's not always about you? Carefully consider the consequences of a solution before pursuing them? Sometimes things suck, accept it rather than trying to fix them because it's not your place to fix them?

In this shiro learns you can't save everyone and it's ok to focus on the closest people. He learns to fight like a proper master with rider and completely trust her to handle the fighting which kind of annoys saber alter in a ntr way.

At the end of the day, Shirou was not made of swords. He was a human. When he was forced to choose between chasing a grandiose ideal or protecting something he cared about, he ultimately chose Sakura. It's spelled out in the scene where he's about to sacrifice himself to destroy the holy grail, but can't bring himself to do it.

I think the message is that caring about someone important to you can be just as beautiful as altruism.

...I wonder if Nasu is so insistent on "Altria" because it sounds like "altruism".

He learns that in all the routes in some manner. The only difference in HF is that he chose to be selfish and protect the villain rather than take them down. It wasn't enough though since it took the collective selfishness of both Shirou and Rin to ultimately disarm Sakura long enough to rulebreak her.

Also archer acknowledges this shirou for being less stupid and likes him the most

There's absolutely nothing at all that suggests this in the route whatsoever. Archer is puzzled by Shirou's new trajectory and is restrained and ambivalent in his commentary; he in fact tells Shirou he will inevitably die for choosing the path he has. Archer's entire goal in UBW is to push Shirou to the breaking point just so he can see him rise up nevertheless and vindicate his ideal in his name because Archer deep down does still believe in his ideal yet cannot muster the will to reconcile himself to it. UBW Shirou's recontextialization of his ideal and Rin's love allow Archer to be at peace with his choices; HF Shirou doesn't answer Archer's questions at all.

Stop spamming these garbage threads you subhuman faggots.

And there is no message as such to HF. It has no aesop that can be applied universally. It is a character study of Shirou, how he reacts in certain circumstances, and what *he* in *particular* should do.

That Kiritsugu was right and that chasing that idealized version of heroism will make you a monster that can't protect what matters most. Shirou had to learn to be selfish, to find something and someone he wanted to cherish and covet more than anything and that was Sakura, the girl who needed a hero to see her and accept her more than anyone else.
