Does anyone else think WSJ battle manga is too dark/edgy now?

Not sure if it's because of the edgy westoids but I feel like WSJ has become less vibrant and childlike aesthetically

And I hate this precisely because it makes so many idiots think these manga are deeper and better than the others when essencialy it's the same shit: a kid doing the impossible to win and help his friends.

It's because the author is clearly a diehard Kishimoto fan and his artstyle attempts to pull from Kishimoto's style. His Enten oneshot is a complete ape of Naruto.
