Because it's still ongoing and it's well known Araki is completely unable to write a satisfying conclusion that ties up all the plot-points in a reasonable manner.
That aside, I do enjoy how Stand users in part 9 are far more willing to entertain the idea of just using a regular gun to shoot someone in a fight.

why are you generalized, i think jojo9 is excelent but not the best thing on going. Theres enough fucking manga to just encapsule the whole industry on one series

I'm reading it month to month but desu, it's been a weak start compared to jojolion (not that any of that early chapter hype and mystery paid off). Until the latest chapter, it had been months of getting a guy to sign a land deed which isn't really page-turning material desu, so it doesn't shock me that people are "sleeping on" it, because it nearly put me to sleep.

That climactic happening? New moon lightning hitting his Crucifix, changing regular rocks into Lava Rocks.

Howler has a crucifix (religious symbol, Pucci is also religious) that changes soil into Lava Rocks. But this only happens when lightning from a new moon hits it.

Pucci used DIO's bone (The Bone of God) to make a tree (tree's are grown in soil) that creates a way to upgrade his stand (Whitesnake -> C-MOON)

My guess is that HOWLER will be able to upgrade his and other people's stand with the power of the NEW MOON crucifix, but what else is associated with God, Christianity, Crucifix?

I think there's a misconception about the crucifix being a key item to find lava rocks, and that people are misled by one page that's not meant to be viewed literally. The crucifix is carved fulgurite, which is the result of a lightning impact. Nothing implies that this fulgurite has special properties. Rather, it just acts as a hint that lightning strikes are part of the way to find magic rocks.

Part 8 was a mess but its best moments were arguably some of the best Araki has ever written/drawn. He hit his peak with Part 7 but he is still capable of producing something of the same quality, its just he needs to think up a scenario as good as Part 7's. Part 9 has that potential in my opinion, I just can't predict how the story will develop from here. If he continues with the hard-boiled crime thriller storyline, keeps the pacing quick, and manages to deliver with the main antagonist (hopefully Howler), then I think this will be his best work after Part 7.

Part 8's final fight and ending was so bad it just turned me off. I'll read the synopsis whem jojolands finishes.

Let's see:
Part 1: Great. Yeah this one is probably the best ending Araki has written.
Part 2: Not very good. The main villain becomes unstoppable and then loses in extremely contrived way, with Joseph even admitting that it was pure luck things worked out that way. While funny, it is also very underwhelming, definitely not a good ending from a narrative perspective.
Part 3: Good. Jotaro develops new time-stop powers out of nowhere, but other than that it is a pretty good.
Part 4: Awful, Kira develops highly contrived time travel powers out of nowhere and then jobs to a fucking ambulance, and plenty of plot threads are left untied. The actual fight is pretty good, but it's not enough to salvage the mess.
Part 5: Even more Awful, Freaky Friday for a final fight, Polnareff gets character assassinated, Diavolo's identity doesn't play into his defeat at all when the entire story has been about discovering his identity in order to defeat him, Diavolo's powers continue to be inconsistent, almost no denouement with Araki instead wasting pages on a meaningless and boring flashback chapter.
Part 6: Not very good. There are a lot of neat ideas and Pucci's defeat is absolute pottery, but I think the mechanics of how Made In Heaven don't really make sense and everything that happened being undone leaves a bit of sour taste in mouth. Also he forgot about F.F. which makes the happy ending fall a bit flat.
Part 7: Good. Dio being some random alt-universe Dio we don't care about instead of the Dio we know is a blunder, but other than that it's good.
Part 8: Worst thing Araki has written.

That's 3 good/great endings, 2 that are not very good and 3 that are terrible. That's not a very good track record in my opinion.

Im not gona lie I am getting more into Hawaiian culture now because of this. Their mythology is pretty cool
