Huh, I thought she would return in the next season, not this one. Regardless, S continues to be the most entertaining Sailor Moon season so far. I'm having a blast. I love how much more emphasis this season puts on the group and their interactions, and all the little silly scenarios they end up in.

the ending of S pretty much perfectly wraps up the series. SuperS is the Chibiusa Show, she and her budding zoophilia take over the plot and all the cool emotional developments the rest of the cast get thrown out the window (and in the case of the Outer Scouts, written out of the show entirely). worse still, there's zero actual plot development leading to almost the entire season being nothing but filler. Stars meanwhile feels more like fanfiction than an actual continuation; it introduces a ton of new characters you probably won't care about and even has Usagi fall in love with a different guy with Mamoru totally sidelined. and for the record, much of the production crew who had been with the series since the beginning also left at the end of SuperS, further making Stars feel like a non-canon what-if series because all the writers and animators were new.
