one piece (Luffy and Nika)
Hello. This may come as a surprise. This post is dedicated to fans of One Piece.
We've already seen what Luffy is capable of when he uses gear5.
I want to add something I've been thinking about over the last couple of days. With the release of new episodes and new chapters of the manga, I can't stop thinking about the same thing.
This isn't the first time Oda has shown Nika's silhouette. Note that the boy looks no older than 15 or 16years.
(Nika lived 3,000 years ago and was a “warrior of liberation,” as he was called. It will be a very pity if Oda does not deign to fully reveal Nika and show us nothing about his past, who he wanted to become, or how he died.)
Nika is in fact as key a character as Luffy. Many people around me have said that Nika is more of a symbol than a real person. I agree halfway. They say that Luffy is the “reincarnation” of JoyBoy, but I strongly disagree with that. There is no confirmation of this, but I can say for sure that Luffy is connected to Nika.
Firstly, by pure “coincidence,” Luffy's ship looks like the sun and is called the Thousand Sunny, which is very similar to Nika's nickname, the Sun God.
Secondly, Luffy's fruit (Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika) is a mythical Zoan that can change the user's personality. As we can see, Luffy's personality did not change when he first used the 5Gear (perhaps this is temporary), so we can assume that Nika's character and Luffy's character are very similar.
