So provided they took a steamer trough the Sues that would have taken about 13 days from Mumbai at 12knots a not uncommon speed for a mid to late 60"ies steamboat, a day by train from Marseilles to Duinkerke and an other day to get ferried across to England and to take the train on to London.
so you are looking at 2 weeks and change.
3 weeks if you include some idle time.
4 weeks if you are going on a regular commercial vessel but considering the wealth involved they'll probably just hire a vessel outright.
