I, like many others, am being trampled on by society. But I can't get into 99% of isekai because the stories nowadays are almost exclusively about a loser who never tried to improve his lot, never acquired any skills, and never even had a hobby (rarely, videogames, but in that case the author seems to have 0 experience playing games and the motif obly appears in the story for asspull reasons).
On the other hand I have fought like hell every step od the way and work harder than anyone else I've ever seen or heard of. My achievements demonstrate that it'a not just hard work but also good work, as does the feedback from execs at the compamies I worked at.
But I'm peniless, getting old, and only given opportunities that people 15 years my juniors with 0 experience or achievements are also being given.
To avois venting for 5 poats, overall my life is like the mc in A Serious Man except 10x worse.
So I can engage with isekai where the mc is similarly unbelieavably unlucky but not through passivity or for comedic reasons, or if he's a bumbling tryhard, or itherwise if he's hypercompetent (usually played as a joke), but not if that meams he's a gary stu (a hard balance). otherwise nope. I can't do golden spoon faggots or lazy loser types, or total retards (usually so written because the author is too dumb). Busamen is borderline (he worked hard in spite of adversity, but was still given impossible opportunity), but I don't care for his config in the isekai, for example.
