as far as I am aware, the first Muslim astronaut, Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud (a Saudia prince and fighter pilot) in 1985 consulted the imams about how to pray in space, and it, generally, was "try to face earth, Mecca if able." Meanwhile, the issue of fasting, when not aligned with traditional sunlight distributions, or the being able to fully be prostrate during prayer--problems that aren't conceivable while living on our terrestrial home
