Deluxe editions are fine. The absolute worst however are the fucking VIZBIGs, the bindings are all messed up and you have to strain to spread them.

Well, I get it for something like Berserk where it's harder to keep 40 individual volumes in print, doing a 3-in-1 omnibus reduces the total volumes and makes it easier to collect, and doing it in a more "premium" format might get some bigger fans or people who didn't get a complete set of the singles to double dip.

Idgaf, I just want my manga printed on decent paper. Quit selling volumes with fucking newsprint pages. And A6 bunko or whatever fucking sucks for manga drawn on A3. I want to see the art.
There has to be a happy medium of softcover volumes with good paper with a reasonable size at a decent price.

Nice, I read the novel but never got around to the manga back in the day because Tokyopoop's version was such a shitshow.
And on the subject of re-releases I will forever be mad that Silent Mobius got picked up by a new publisher who did a nice un-flipped version with color page inserts and it was canceled after 3 volumes. And my old Viz collection will probably never be complete because assholes on Ebay want $100 for volume 12.
