Say what you want about Raijuta being the shittiest antagonist in the series, but I liked how he was an actual serial killer in the 90s anime instead of a guy that couldn't bring himself to kill anyone no matter how hard he tried, I like how he actually had a fight with Kenshin and managed to hurt his arm instead of just being taken down with a single attack as well
besides his arc is only 3 episodes long so it doesn't take too much time, his arc is shorter than any of the anime original arc, even the fencing retard got 4 episodes

To each it's own, the 90s anime did had incompetent mongoloid antagonists but most of these were one offs, the fencing guy was probably the weakest of the filler arc antagonists since Kenshin took him down with a single attack and like manga Raijuta he was unable to bring himself to kill anyone

Their leader made all the manga's villains look like jokes by comparison, he beat the living shit out of Kenshin without anyone's help to the point he lost consiousness unlike Shishio who needed all his followers to tire and badly injury Kenshin before they fought, the knight only lost because he accidentally set the place on fire then committed suicide by walking into the fire, not a great or interesting antagonist but usually Kenshin is really OP so it was a nice change of pace

I guess it is technically femdom but it doesn't feel like it's morphed into what it is now, at least in anime. In the 90s it felt more like letting the girl hit you because it's not polite to hit them back or whatever, and usually played for laughs. Kenshin or Yusuke could just strangle Karou/Keiko to death if they wanted to any time
