Something that really bothers me with anime.
Am I really the only autist bothered with the fact that minor characters and tertiary characters are never given proper development, or are just props for the story?

Like they're not real characters, but exist in a similar state to the background props like if they were furniture to the heroes.

anon that's what makes them minor characters

I mean, it bothers me to see cool character, by example in shonen, never given enough development.

Like DBZ and Naruto.

I don't mean main characters.
I mean, they can still be minor characters in the plot, but like they should be more fleshed out psychologically.

Have their own lifes, goals, dreams, should talk about like failing to get a job.

Just like how a random person IRL that is not relevant, would still be able to talk about his childhood, or would still have a job and a daily routine.

Our world is filled with minor events, like world cup, wars, political elections, natural disasters we see on TV and youtube, that have no impact in the story of our own lifes.

but a minor character doesnt need to be like having a full chapter. He can make something, like a single dialog about, I was busy taking my daughter to her singing class, she was given the first spot at the singer competition, and hopefully she can take the college next test, I heard that the new teacher is better at her job than the last one, she came from brazil from a top singer university. and that would take like 30 seconds to mention.

yeah, but by example, bulma are never developed.

What goverment she has.
What position in her scientific comunity.
Where did she go to study science.
Where does she go to cientific conventions.
Does her inventions have any revolutionary development in the world tech?
Does she does humanitarian job deployments?
Does she pay taxes?
What is her favorite singer?
What's her favorite food, her religious background?
Does she go to the church?
Is she christian?
Does she worship kami sama?
Does she teaches in a college?

It's detail that implies there's more stuff.

Yes, they should have their own developments, even if it's off screen. Each time they appear they should be slightly different. Any good character-driven series does this.
Although sometimes it can be good to keep them the same to show how much the MC has grown compared to them.

That’s what fanart, side stories and imagination is for. I’m sure if mangaka found the hidden drawjutsu technique and could draw 1000 pages in a day some could tell you exactly what every single character does every day and every little detail about them is but unfortunately with live in a gay world where time energy and ability are very limited. Not only that but lots of people would probably just write off all that development as filler and just skip to major points of the story.

>that minor characters and tertiary characters are never given proper development
That wasn't always the case. Back in the day the secondary characters were always much more interesting and more developed than the main characters. You can just take the myth the legend himself Hideyoshi.
The issue is that the modern anime is written to first and foremost appeal to corporate fucks and normalfags to generate profit, that is why you cant actually explore the interesting aspects of the shows or characters because those are usually aspects that filter the normalfags away. It is reason why chuuni and edgy stories and characters are much more rare these days, because normalfags don't like those.

Yes you are. In fact with have an issue with people getting mad that side character number 5 doesn’t get as much development as the protagonist. Sometimes characters are just tools for the story.

No, I think it's just a lack of talent.

You know shonen anime is for like 10-14 year old boys, right? Have you maybe tried watching or reading something actually made for adults?
