- Fix the laughably bad animation in the first two seasons, pic-related should not have been allowed to get anywhere past the broadcasting stage, it’s just sad.
- Do what you advertised and actually FOLLOW the manga if you’re not gonna do extra filler episodes to expand shit (which the manga honestly does need), no trying to shove in original subplots like the Inners/Shittenou shit if you don’t actually have enough episodes to properly develop and build that shit up, also the first two seasons deleted way too many panels from the manga for my lacking and even got rid of the manga’s own sense of humor all in the name of trying to be “mature”, stop that. (At least they finally learned their lesson here come season 3 and put all the gags back in)
- No censored bullshit such as having the sword stab Beryl’s necklace instead of her gut, or removing Demande strangling a kid to a corpse, if Crystal was really meant to be aimed at an adult audience who grew up with the franchise than why was it treating us with kid gloves?
- Speaking of which, give Venus her Beryl kill that she got in the manga, changing it to Usagi and making it a “team effort” did Venus so goddamn dirty!
>No making the Inners a hivemind and have them automatically finishing each other’s sentences, this wasn’t in the manga.
- Restore Rei’s original abrasive personality from the manga and don’t tone her down.
- Eternal should’ve been a full 13 episode season like the 3rd movie rather than being split up into 2 movies, it fucked the pacing and transition of the first part of the Dream arc.
That’s about it, my and I think most people’s problem in general with Crystal was mainly how they did the first two arcs, arcs 3-5 were done at an acceptable level for a purely manga-accurate remake more or less, unfortunately those two first arcs managed to give off a horrible first impression and scared the fanbase off.
