Non Non Biyori and Ichigo Mashimaro are the only CGDCT i'd put on the same tier as K-ON!

I'd say Minami-ke too but only the first season is great.

It's hard to say. Many other SoLs are very "cosy" and I personally enjoyed them as much as K-ON!

It's not that it didn't work, but more so that K-ON! Restart was always meant to be a short revival due Houbunsha pressuring kakifly to do more due to it being the biggest Manga Time Kirara series back then, the movie around the time, the anime being massive, and then the plans for season 3 were dropped.
College just ended up with the lack-luster ending that makes you double read to make sure that is the final chapter
High School despite the lack of spotlight really ended up as the better volume in the end
And now we have Shuffle that might never get finished from Kakifly being ill or resting or dead or something that has caused it to go on indefinite hiatus

Making Kaede the manager was so stupid. Clearly, she can play the keyboard, so why does she have to write the songs for everyone else. Seeing Mio and Ritsu make the songs together made them feel so much more genuine.
