It finally got a full translation a few years back. I had given up hope. It was so great to finally read it to the end. I just found out the alternate version Exoskull Zero is being translated as well. Only two volumes left! I'm shocked at that and Seven Ninja of the Imperial Guard both getting translations after all this time. I saw one page of the latter with Harara(?) slicing a man's head off with his dick and knew I had to read it someday.

It was jarring going from Apocalypse Zero, to Demon Order Garan, to Shigurui, but by the end I realized he has a very consistent worldview and sense of morality in his works that don't neatly fit into any boxes or binaries. He just draws cool shit and depicts things as he sees them, then his characters will react to the world around them according to their beliefs. It makes for interesting stories.
